This was created right after the 60 Minutes episode. The actual footage from the bootleg copy appears.
The 60 Minutes idea started when a bootleg copy of the actual story got out from the Canadian streaming service. I tried to come up with something to build around the segment that would be satirical.
There’s a good chance that this phone call happened. Even if it didn’t CBS was no doubt under pressure to not air the segment.
I pictured the image of the serious 60 Minutes segment running, and the Bari Weiss cartoon breaking in to stop it.
Bari Weiss certainly deserves to be scolded by 2 historic news icons.
