Trump Explodes At Reporter’s Questions

Trump Explodes at Reporter’s Question (Cartoon Satire)
October 3, 2025
In this animated satire, Trump takes questions from a reporter — and quickly spirals into a rant about how his attorney general should go after all of his enemies.
This was my first video, very rough to say the least. It was launched right after his silly encounter with reporter Jon Karl and right after his crazy truth social post about "C'mon Pam" literally days before the statute of limitations on indicting Comey was about to run out.

This was my first video and animation using the animation tool. I went through numerous tutorials and videos on both animation and audio generation and I needed something to animate.

My first try was to do Trump – in his own words – with some goofy voice and a series of expressions.

My first choice was the rant that Trump went on with reporter Jon Karl about how he was going to go after reporters like him that treat him so unfairly …

There are hundreds of pre-built “puppets” and I found one that is Trump-like. Works for me as the viewer certainly gets the picture. Then the voice – though technology to clone Trump’s voice exactly exists, it’s unquestionably over the legal line. Many animators use Trump-like voices and expressions – may even be done with real voice talent. For me, I just want it funny and took the cue from South Park. It’s a boastful narcistic voice fed through some speed up.

The 2nd part of this first video was – let’s take one of his famous truth social posts and animate Trump getting all worked up. Part of this was testing out more capabilities of the animation tool. In future animations, I’ve learned to make the motions not so rough and chaotic.

His whole bit about “Cmon Pam …” on truth social was a perfect fit for this.

It fell into place that there would be a headline after Trump’s rant, and of course indicting Comey happened just this way after Trump’s truth social post.  I came up with idea of putting together the breaking news sound with a newspaper headline.  It’s kind of silly that it’s a newspaper that carries the last bit since we’re in such a new digital world. But this is a pattern I’ve used for all of my shorts now.
