The idea came to me as I saw the news of Trump’s letter to the Prime Minister of Norway. He’s acting like a 2 year old. Let’s depict him that way. Animated head with toddler body. Very low tech but it gets the point across.
I also tried to use the subtitles as a way of mimicking him writing a letter. Interesting effect.
Used the cell phone calling trick to depict European leaders all calling to try to talk him out of invading Greenland. Tariffs for all, he responds.
I had a hard time figuring out how to end it. Then I thought bribe him with a plane would be perfect. And since he’s in a 2 year old body, let’s have it be a toy plane.
The headline sort of predicted true events, as a day after this was published, Trump stated at Davos that he wouldn’t invade Greenland.
