Trump wants Venezuela’s oil.
This time, he doesn’t bother pretending otherwise.
As pundits scramble to explain it away, Trump proudly cuts through the usual excuses and says exactly what past wars only implied.
2 weeks after I published Trump screaming "I want the oil" which everyone knows is true, Trump in the real world confirms our suspicions.
My first motivation for reprising the “I want the oil” bit was to redo something with my new simulated Trump voice.
I was so struck by Trump’s brazen talk on camera about oil in Venezuela I really wanted to put my yelling Trump cartoon next to the real Trump. You can’t make this stuff up.
Instead of reporters dogging Trump, why not have it be podcasters be the pundits who go over Trump’s every move.
We end up with an Onion style headline that really isn’t satire.
