It was the first full week of our new world, being at war with Iran. There are so many things to be outraged about. One completely outrageous blunder was the White House creating a video mashup of blockbuster movie clips glorifying war, and Ben Stiller objecting to them using his movie without consent. We have the return of Pete Hegseth in his muscle outfit saying outrageous things. He’s very proud of the whole tough guy thing.
Then Hollywood shows up. I didn’t want to try to animate Ben Stiller specifically so I had AI create a generic pic to represent Hollywood. I’m sure no one wants their movies used to glorify war. Ben Stiller was just the first to speak up about it.
Hollywood’s collective response went a little off the rails in this bit. I thought it was a good come back.
